U is for unbridled joy; which comes from exploring your passions and being able to follow your interests to your heart’s desire.

N is for natural; how natural it is to grow and learn and life and feel and BE in every moment!

S is for sweet and sour and stinky and sleepy and salty and so on; all things you experience and taste and make and create and smell and do in a day or week or month or year.

H is for happiness; which needs no explaining

O is for Ostrich and Oleander and Orange and Orangutan and Octopus and Ornery and Opossum and Opal; all things that have been Googled in the last few days.

O is for “OH!!” and “OOOOOO!” and “OH WOW!!!”; comments heard daily about all the neat things that have been experienced!

L is for love and library and life and learning and living; as a family.

I is for interests; following interests and watching them unfold into passions is one of the best things of unschooling.

N is for nighttime; when the busy of the day blends into the companionship of the night, when the stars seem close enough to touch, the entire world seems magical, and when you could swear, you see fairies dancing on moonbeams.

G is for gift and Google; the gift of family, the gift of happiness, the gift of freedom, the gift of love and the gift of BEING. And Google, without whom, unschoolers lives would be worlds smaller and who, on a daily basis, helps to expand our worlds infinitely.
